This one is going to take a while, so sit back and enjoy. I have the pleasure of photographing Amanda & Paolo’s wedding day coming up this year. Amanda is very familiar with the wedding industry since she is a Certified Wedding & Event Coordinator herself! She is the well respected owner of Ferri-Tale Weddings and has acheived many awards! Well let me tell you, she really is one organized girl! When they hired me to travel up North to Blue Mountain recently for their E-session, Amanda e-mailed me a multi-page detailed itinerary of everything you could think of from directions to the room where they were staying in! This girl is good! So off we went to Blue Mountain where I finally had the chance to meet Paolo for the very 1st time since I did not meet him at the time of booking. I heard the story of how special this place was to them since they frequent this place often in an attempt to get-away from the big city. We had so much fun that day, both on the slopes, and off. We spent some extra time with them up there, so I thought more of their photos deserved to be posted in order to fully justify the day. Enjoy!
Okay, this part was hillarious. Roshel came out to assist me this day and was my lighting girl. I had my couple on a hill and Roshel’s job was to aim the flash, but she kept on slipping and falling down. She just could not keep her balance! She would try so hard to stay up, but then as I was about to shoot, I would hear “Poof”, and down she would go. She got up again, and then “Poof”….down! Up again…..”Poof”…..down! I’m not kidding when I say this happened many, MANY times! HA-HA! I couldn’t stop laughing my head off!! (sorry Roshel) e-hee-hee!!!
It was BeaverTail time!!! Mmmmmm….. If you have never tried a Beaver Tail, you must! Nutella smothered on a deep-fried pastry. Can’t you just feel your arteries clogging up?!?! But I must admit it looked pretty good! Well, a sweet craving soon turned into a Beaver Tail fight! Enough said

GENEVIEVE + FRANK
Genevieve and Frank are a sweet couple who will be tying the knot this August! I have a bit of history with Genevieve’s family who I photographed in the past, so it will be great to see them again. These two are cute as a button…..looking forward to the big day guys!

What a day! Awesome weather, awesome couple and we got to shoot at the real, live Freddy Kruger’s house too!! (just before getting kicked out). Milena has been my faithful blog stalker and Facebook commenter for a while now, Rob you need to catch up….:) Speaking of Rob, he didn’t know what to expect going into the shoot, but we all just had fun with it and went with the flow. So tis the season where we head out to our really cool, unknown shooting locations and have some fun with our couples prior to the wedding date. I am posting some e-sessions I shot a little while back, and some just a couple weeks ago, and am hopeful that I will be caught up real soon!
My first couple are no strangers to me at all. When my very good friend, David, told me that he had met this wonderful woman I was so happy for him. Me and David go waaaaaaaaaaaaay back! When I first met Corrine, I could totally see what he sees in her. She really is a super sweet, gentle, beautiful, caring godly woman. I couldn’t be happier for them! My friend David really is a trusting man whom I have been able to rely on for years. He deserves this love that he has found. And I look forward to May 1st where they will commit their vows……and I will probably cry like a baby as I photograph their wedding!

I have been so blessed to get to know this awesome couple. I met Bryan when I photographed his sister’s wedding years ago! Anna & Nick were married back in 2007, and now her big brother had gotten engaged. I realized how Christina is a perfect match for him as I felt the connection. Here’s a sneak-peak of their session.

How cute of these two to bring some colourful flowers for the shoot! I was feeling a little “woodsy” this day, so most of our photos were taken in the clean, fresh air of the forest! Naturally gorgeous!
