Paola & Daniel are getting married tomorrow! But they also planned on getting married 2 days before their wedding. What?!? Let me explain. Before their upcoming wedding this Saturday, they decided to hold a very intimate wedding ceremony with just the two of them. They wanted to recite their own personal vows to one another in the beautiful outdoors and take it all in, with nobody around. They did so….yesterday….just the 2 of them……and it was so special and wonderful :) The squirrels all gathered around us, along with the singing red-winged birds, and they all held hands as this couple recited their vows. Okay….kidding, but the weather could not have been any better! They will still be holding their wedding tomorrow, this time, with all of their family and friends present.
The gorgeously, stunning Paola!!!! Isn’t she naturally beautiful? And I’m not just saying that because she is my wonderful, special friend.
The man of the hour patiently anticipated the arrival of his bride……
You will only see these few photos of the ceremony taken just beforehand. I do not have any photos of the actual ceremony. Why?? Well…..because I was not only the photographer, but the Officient also! Okay, now let me explain first that I am not a Minister, nor am I a Justice of the Peace, however, Paola thought it would be perfect to have me officiate. She explained to me that she believes as they come before God and recite their vows, in the eyes of God, they are married because He will see their hearts and will honour their desire to come together as husband and wife. I thought that was beautiful. So I said yes. (I managed to snap these few photos just before the ceremony) Boy it was tough trying to juggle everything!
As we drove down the street a little after the ceremony, we found the most amazing farm for our photo shoot. Thank-you Kim and hubby for allowing us to shoot on your farm!!!! You were so wonderful with us and you made this day so much more special for Paola & Daniel. Your generosity and kindness will be remembered!
