Congratulations to my very special couple Rosanne & Robbie for making the current issue of WedLuxe Magazine! I was super-excited to photogragh their wedding in Aug.08 because I knew that it would be something extraordinary and over the top, and they are a super sweet couple. Rosanne was not only the bride, but also her own florist! She is the Owner and Creative Director of DiZennio Floral Boutique. Her creations are truly amazing! She recently received 4 awards in the 2008 Canadian Wedding Industry Awards. I was honoured to photograph her creations on the wedding day and capture all of the hard work that was put into these details. Have a Seat provided the stunning decor. It was a beautiful day for their outdoor ceremony with many great memorable moments. You can read their entire feature in the current Summer/Fall issue of WedLuxe.
I have been getting many e-mail inquires from web addresses such as Hotmail…..Gmail…..Yahoo etc. I pride myself with responding within 24-48 hours. However, I am finding that many are not receiving my e-mails because they are being sent directly to the “Spam” folder or “Trash” bin. So, if you are one of those people, please check these folders, and check your spam settings. I find that sending e-mails through your internet service provider address is much more secure. Or, better yet, please leave a phone number in your inquiry to better reach you at. Just thought I’d put it out there so that you do not think I am ignoring you!
It’s the classic case of Doctor meets Lawyer………fall in love……..and the two live happily every after! Such is the case for my rain-defeating couple Muriel & Mike. Yes, it did rain the entire day without letting up once, but that didn’t stop us. A little rain doesn’t scare me, and so we walked the streets of downtown Toronto shooting wherever! Also, I have to say that Muriel looked gorgeous in her wedding gown! I admit that I was excited to photograph her in a gown other than a strapless dress cut straight across. (Come on….you photographers out there can relate to what I’m saying……I know you can!)
Let the games begin!! This was cute. Mike had to win Muriel over before being able to see her. In one game he had to guess whos lips were on the paper. He didn’t do so well. His 1st choice was her dad’s!!

When I say I absolutely adore Linda & Ryan…..I mean it from the bottom of my heart. They really are REAL….if that makes any sense. They are genuinely themselves and they both come from close-knit, caring families. Oh…and I had to laugh during Linda’s morning coverage when I had her in the middle of the road and I gave her my “crazed-creative” look and said: “hmmmm…I have an idea.” Her immediate reponse before I even finished was: “Give it to me!!” She wanted me to challenge her and I thought that was awesome!

So, this is the time where many of us plan for our summer vacations and weekend trips up North to the cottage. But some people are thinking about where their next meal is going to come from, or even if they will make it through the summer. So, I was sitting around one day thinking about this….and thinking about how we can make a difference. And this is what came to mind:
We will be hitting the streets of Toronto on Saturday, June 27th to deliver food, clothing, etc. directly to the homeless.
We will meet up at a specified location to prepare all the meals and organize our group. We will then drive to the streets of downtown Toronto to deliver directly to those in need.
Mini vans are always welcome so that we can gather more people & goods into one vehicle. Donations for the following are also welcome:
Non-perishable foods (pop-top soups, crackers, peanut butter and jelly)
Granola bars/healthy snacks
Canned fruits & vegetables
Whether you have goods to offer, or just your time to help prepare and deliver, we would love to have you join us! Every lit bit helps.
If you would like to sign up, please e-mail me at: impulsephoto@bellnet.ca to let me know. You will be put on “the list” and I will notify you with more information as to where we will all be meeting.
THIS IS OPEN TO ANYONE!…….CLIENTS……PHOTOGRAPHERS……FRIENDS……BLOG STALKERS……LET’S ALL COME TOGETHER!!
