I love it when my couples are up for something different. Sonia & Joe are definately unique people who were open to any ideas that I had. They are getting married in January of 2011, and with Joe in the wedding industry himself, I wanted to make sure their photos were something they have never seen, so for their E-Session I suggested a Vintage shoot that would mimick the 50’s era and Hollywood Glam, (with a little “Notebook” style ending (love that movie!) They rented their costumes and we just went to town! Despite the scalding heat, (I think it was something like 450 degrees that day), we truly had alot of fun. (Mind you, at one point I seriously thought I could feel my camera body melting a little in my hands!) Trula from “Montana Hair & Makeup” did a wonderful job with them. She stayed with us for the entire shoot to change hair/makeup as we went along. Joe & Sonia, you were both so patient and wonderful to work with. I know your wedding is going to be crazy! Special thanks to my crew, the water simulation worked out perfectly. For my present/future couples, I will be offering “Premium” E-Sessions such as this, so please contact me for details. I will start with our last shot of the day…..enjoy!

This one is going to take a while, so sit back and enjoy. I have the pleasure of photographing Amanda & Paolo’s wedding day coming up this year. Amanda is very familiar with the wedding industry since she is a Certified Wedding & Event Coordinator herself! She is the well respected owner of Ferri-Tale Weddings and has acheived many awards! Well let me tell you, she really is one organized girl! When they hired me to travel up North to Blue Mountain recently for their E-session, Amanda e-mailed me a multi-page detailed itinerary of everything you could think of from directions to the room where they were staying in! This girl is good! So off we went to Blue Mountain where I finally had the chance to meet Paolo for the very 1st time since I did not meet him at the time of booking. I heard the story of how special this place was to them since they frequent this place often in an attempt to get-away from the big city. We had so much fun that day, both on the slopes, and off. We spent some extra time with them up there, so I thought more of their photos deserved to be posted in order to fully justify the day. Enjoy!

Okay, this part was hillarious. Roshel came out to assist me this day and was my lighting girl. I had my couple on a hill and Roshel’s job was to aim the flash, but she kept on slipping and falling down. She just could not keep her balance! She would try so hard to stay up, but then as I was about to shoot, I would hear “Poof”, and down she would go. She got up again, and then “Poof”….down! Up again…..”Poof”…..down! I’m not kidding when I say this happened many, MANY times! HA-HA! I couldn’t stop laughing my head off!! (sorry Roshel) e-hee-hee!!!

It was BeaverTail time!!! Mmmmmm….. If you have never tried a Beaver Tail, you must! Nutella smothered on a deep-fried pastry. Can’t you just feel your arteries clogging up?!?! But I must admit it looked pretty good! Well, a sweet craving soon turned into a Beaver Tail fight! Enough said

GENEVIEVE + FRANK
Genevieve and Frank are a sweet couple who will be tying the knot this August! I have a bit of history with Genevieve’s family who I photographed in the past, so it will be great to see them again. These two are cute as a button…..looking forward to the big day guys!

MILENA + ROB
What a day! Awesome weather, awesome couple and we got to shoot at the real, live Freddy Kruger’s house too!! (just before getting kicked out). Milena has been my faithful blog stalker and Facebook commenter for a while now, Rob you need to catch up….:) Speaking of Rob, he didn’t know what to expect going into the shoot, but we all just had fun with it and went with the flow. And here are some of their pics to show for it! Milena’s dress is killer! (Big day coming up May 22nd!!)

For those of you who follow my blog diligently, this is long overdue. As you are aware, I have been very busy this winter with work, renovations and other photography projects, so my blogging time has been cut back, but I vow to get caught up! I should post the “before” and “after” photos of my renos . Let me tell you, it has been quite an experience!
I have also been getting ready for WPPI which is coming up real soon. I received my new Wedding Books the other day that I will be taking with me to the show and was so excited to finally see the finished product! They look gorgeous! (I hope to post some pics of these soon!)
But for now, let’s get to my couples. I want to share with you some Lifestyle E-Sessions I photographed in the fall/early winter. There are so many couples that I still need to post, so I have chosen to batch them together in a few posts. For now, here are my first 3 awesome couples. I thought I would start with my #1 blog stalker!……ahem…..you know who you are……Lisa Marie……
LISA MARIE+ MAURO

These 2 are so cute. I feel like I’ve known Lisa Marie forever! She contacted me a LONG time before she got engaged. Telling me how one day she would love to have me photograph her and Mauro. She was anxiously awaiting her proposal. I believe about 1 year later it actually happened and she called me the day after Mauro proposed, came in right away, and booked me! Their wedding is coming up this year and it is long awaited. Can’t wait! It will be a fun wedding as I’ve already met her family from a photo shoot I had with them not to long ago, and let me tell you, her family are pretty energetic and humerous people!! They had me laughing so hard!

STEPHANIE + MICHAEL
These 2 are cute as pie! I went out with Stephanie & Michael in the fall to catch the awesome colours that I so now dearly miss. I really enjoyed getting to know them and look forward to the big day! Super cool couple

MELISSA + ROB
I thought it would be appropriate to post Melissa & Rob next as they are great friends with S+M (above). Their wedding dates are only 2 months apart! I took Melissa & Rob into a foresty area on this gorgeous day (foresty? Is that a word? probably not) We worked with the beautiful light we were given and had a great shoot….they are so adorable

I have been extremely busy with my weddings this year that I have not had any time to post some of my E-Sessions which I shot in the last little while. So….here they are! Well, just a sneak-peak anyways. I’ve selected 2 images from each of my amazing couples. I will be posting their full post with lots more photos soon! (That’s my winter project) But for now, I hope you enjoy these
